On 30 August , 2018, Tim Tim Tare celebrated yet another milestone in Gujarat as it was relayed directly through BISAG (Bhaskaracharya Institute for Space Applications and Geo Informatics) on Vande Gujarat Channel no. 6. Already available in 4 districts of Gujarat through DVDs for the last six years, was relayed for an hour between 11am and 12pm on the channel.
Vande Gujarat is a TV Network run by the Government of Gujarat for reaching educational programs through technology. It has channels for each class and is connected to all the government-recognized schools of Gujarat.
As a result of this relay, Tim Tim Tare project reached 9 lac students in 26,500 primary schools of Gujarat in a single relay. The teachers and students have welcomed the project with great enthusiasm and are looking forward to more relays. The videos of the same are available on the site too.
